Kindergarten would like to thank Jean Bailey and OSU extension office for providing the chick embryo project for our classrooms! We have enjoyed learning about the eggs, the life cycle of a chicken, the importance of hand washing, and most of all watching the chicks hatch. 🐣

Seiling Elementary Little Olympics - Tuesday, May 6th
We’re excited to announce that the Seiling Elementary Little Olympics will take place on Tuesday, May 6th!
This year, the event will be divided into two separate sessions:
Morning Session (9:30 AM) – Students in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade will participate.
Afternoon Session (12:35 PM) – Students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade will participate.
During the week of April 28th, your child will bring home a list of the specific events they will be participating in.
We look forward to a fun-filled day of friendly competition and school spirit!

Our Seiling Jr. and Sr. Teams competed today at the Shattuck Smoking Hot Barbecue Fest. They did an amazing job and the Jr. cooking team won the award for best ribs. The Sr. team won the 3rd place award for chicken lollipop.
Congratulations to both of our teams on an outstanding job!
On March 27th, 12 students traveled to SWOSU to compete in the annual Southwestern Interscholastic Meet (SWIM).
This year, 58 schools competed and over 1800 tests were administered. Students tested in the area of Math, Language Arts, Fine Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Technology. All students placed in the top 20 of the tests they took, and the majority placed in the top 10!! Aidan Biggs placed 1st in HTML Web Page Design, 2nd in General Science, and 3rd in American Government. Congratulations students!
