🍎 Welcome to Seiling Public Schools, Mrs. Darla Adkisson! 🖤💛 Please join us in giving a warm Wildcat welcome to Mrs. Darla Adkisson, who will be joining the Seiling High School faculty! Mrs. Adkisson grew up in Ringwood and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She and her husband, Mark, have been married for many years and are proud parents of two daughters, Adrian and Ami, who are now raising families of their own. These days, she loves cheering on her grandchildren at their many activities and enjoys spending time on the golf course whenever she gets the chance—even if she says her game isn’t improving! Throughout her career, Mrs. Adkisson has taught at Ringwood, Cimarron, Timberlake, and Okeene, where she has built a reputation for caring for students and making a positive impact in the classroom. Mrs. Adkisson shared: “I have enjoyed my time at all these schools and look forward to teaching and working with the students and faculty at Seiling High School.” We are excited to have Mrs. Adkisson join the Wildcat family and can’t wait to see the difference she’ll make in the lives of our students. Reminder for all girls participating in extracurricular activities! Don’t forget that Girls Physicals will be held this Wednesday, July 8th, at 5:00 PM at Dr. Duffy’s Clinic.

📢 OSSAA Dead Period Reminder 📢 The OSSAA Dead Period will be observed June 27 – July 5, 2026. During this time: No contact between coaches/sponsors and student-athletes for coaching, training, or instruction in OSSAA-governed activities. School athletic facilities, including gyms, weight rooms, and fields, will be closed for OSSAA-related use. Student-athletes may continue to work out independently but may not use school-provided facilities or equipment. Please help us comply with OSSAA regulations by respecting the dead period guidelines. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing break before summer activities resume!

Don't forget to swing by the school tomorrow morning to pick up a box! We were able to get more boxes than last week to help serve more children! Again, first come, first serve basis!

JOM Backpack & High School Supply Distribution Today in Seiling! Come see us today for JOM backpack distribution and high school supply distribution! Who can qualify for JOM? If your child is an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe bring them! If your child is not enrolled, but a parent is an enrolled tribal member bring them along with the child’s birth certificate. If neither the child nor parent is enrolled, but a grandparent is an enrolled tribal member — bring the birth certificates needed to show lineage/descendancy. Don’t have everything ready today or aren’t planning to sign your child up for JOM today? That’s okay! They would still love to help.. JOM provides assistance with so much more than school supplies, including: Basketball shoes Cheer fees Glasses Club dues Driver’s Education School-related expenses …and much more!

This partnership between our school and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma will be every Monday until August 3rd. Area families can come pick up a box with 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches, all shelf stable, for every child under 18 in their household, completely free! Distributions will be 8:00am-10:00am by Seiling School’s Cafeteria Door!
