Operation Christmas Child

The Seiling Student Council decided earlier in the year to donate ten boxes to Operation Christmas Child, a part of the Samaritan's Purse organization. The students paired up to fill the shoebox size boxes with items for boys and girls ages 2-14. This week the officers will drop off the boxes at the Crossroads Community Church which is a local collection location. Each box requires a monetary donation to cover shipping costs. The Mutual United Methodist Women's Group donated half of the money required, and the other half was raised at the local Halloween Carnival. Seiling Student Council is determined to exhibit leadership and demonstrate service. We are always looking for ways to serve our community. Their adviser is Jennifer Hedges.
